私が油絵を描くのは、言葉では届かない場所へ、色を通して手を伸ばすためです。
キャンバスの上に広がるのは、自分の中にある「足りなさ」への問いかけ。満たされない何かを見つめ、それを形にしようとする静かな衝動が、私の絵の出発点にあります。
そして、願い。大切な人たちが幸せであるようにという祈りを、一筆一筆に込めています。絵を描くことは、私にとって祈りの行為です。
周りに居てくれる人たちへの感謝と愛情も、色の中に溶け込んでいます。見てくださる方の心に、その温もりが少しでも届けば、これ以上の喜びはありません。

About Kiyo Aono Amber
I paint in oils to reach the places that words cannot.
Each canvas begins with a quiet question — a searching look at what feels incomplete within me. It is that restless longing, that need to give shape to something unnamed, which sets every painting in motion.
There is also a wish woven into every brushstroke: a prayer that the people I love may know happiness. For me, painting is an act of devotion.
Gratitude and affection for those who surround me are dissolved into the colours themselves. If even a trace of that warmth reaches the heart of someone who sees my work, I could ask for nothing more.
